
NMS leases headquarters space at the Sematech building in Austin, TX. Sematech is an advanced semiconductor R&D consortium. The nanochannel chips are fabricated at SVTC under contract. This leading-edge development fab was formerly owned by Sematech for its most advanced semiconductor R&D. NMS leases space for its cleanroom at Minco in North Austin, TX. This cleanroom operates at Class 100 with Class 1 available under a clean hood. NMS implant are assembled in this cleanroom. NMS funded sponsored research at UT Health Science Center in Houston and our primary IP license is from there. Additional work is done at UT Austin in the Microelectronics Research Center, the Pharmacy College, and the Biomedical Engineering department. Animal studies are done at Texas A&M University’s TIPS facility.
Since Dr. Ferrari’s move to The Methodist Hospital Research Institute, including the nDS research team, NMS has now establishing material transfer and sponsored research agreements at that institution.
